Brush Removal & Land Clearing in Spokane

Overgrown fence lines, a back corner nobody has touched in a decade, blackberry and scrub taking the pasture, defensible space that needs opening up before fire season. We clear brush and small growth with a skid steer and excavator on residential and small acreage properties.

What we clear

  • Brush, scrub and blackberry along fence lines and property edges
  • Small trees and saplings, and stumps we can pull with the excavator
  • Overgrown corners, old garden beds and abandoned pasture
  • Defensible space around structures for wildfire clearance
  • Clearing a footprint for a shop, shed, pad or fence line
  • Piling and stacking material on site for you to burn or chip

What this covers

This is brush removal, not land clearing at acreage scale. Five acres of mature timber is a dozer and a forestry mulcher job — ask us and we will point you at an outfit that runs them.

Cleared material gets piled, stacked or bermed wherever you want it on the property, ready for a burn permit or a chipper. On acreage that is usually what people want anyway. On a small lot with nowhere to put a pile, tell us when you call and we will sort the disposal out with you.

Fire season and defensible space

Spokane County summers have gotten serious about this, and clearing brush back from structures is one of the cheapest risk reductions available to a rural property owner. Timing matters. The work is best done in spring or fall, and burn restrictions start well before fire risk peaks — if you are thinking about it in August, it is too late for that season.

When to book

Spring after the ground firms up, or fall once the heat breaks. Summer works too but is our busiest stretch. Winter is generally out — frozen ground makes stump and root work slow and hard on equipment.

Related work

Clearing often comes ahead of shop and pad grading or a new fence line needing trenching.
